St Ives to Narrabean via Garigal NP 28km

From St ives, we’ll walk to the narrabean via garigal NP. This is a pretty relaxing and straightforward easy walk if we did get a bit of rain. Distance: 28km Elevation: 650m Weather: 0-3 mm rain @ 40% chance of showers, will probably have light showers during the day, but really light. Transport: Meet at Gordon station at 8:00am, will take bus to St Ives, walk to Narrabean beach and take bus from Narrabean back to Wynyard. There is parking at Gordon station. IMPORTANT NOTES: – You are responsible for looking after your own health and safety. You must also take care not to put other people at risk. – Do not venture off the trail or close to cliff edges. – Stay together as a group, but maintaining the 1.5m social distancing requirement within the group the entire event. – You are a healthy individual with no symptoms of illness ie: cough, flu, cold or other underlying health issues etc. If unwell, please stay at home! – You have not been admitted in the hospital or quarantined for the past 14 days. – You have not been or coming from overseas for the past 14 days. – Wear comfortable outfit and sturdy walking shoes. Bring at least 2.5L of water, food, snacks, hand sanitizer, light rainjacket, gaiters/long pants (garigal NP known for leeches when wet – although we will be higher up this time as compared to my last walk in the rain at Garigal last time) windbreaker and small towel. Can move people from waitlist if you message/comment you can commit to come. No gratuity required.
