Mud Point + Peak Hill (Kuring-Gai NP offtrail)

Happy New Year! Have you walked up that firetrail from Haweskbury River Station to hike to Cowan? (the beginning of Oxfam section 1?). I have, about 100 times over the last 5 years but did you know there is an offtrail path that leads to Peak Hill and Mud Point halfway up that firetrail? We'll be doing that, distance is quite short, about 10km and should only take about 5+ hours with exploring. Track is off the trail so expect a fair bit of scrambling and bush bash. We also connect down to Sandy beach before looping back to Haweskbury river station. Feel free to stay back at the local pub for a beer or 2. Join our FB group here! Join our Strava here!
