Mercurys Boot to Baal Bone Point (Garden of Stone) Off Track

Credit to Paul Ma for the photo of Lisa holding her boot. Distance is about 14km, but not your typical walking track! We will meet opposite Ben Bullen train station at 8:30am, the drive to the start point Baal bone Gap campground is another 12km worth of dirt road through Moffit Trail. Moffit trail is AWD/4WD only, last time I drove on this in 2024, the conditions were actually quite good for my Subaru outback, but definitely won't drive after bad weather (so will check before hand)! To make it worth while trip, I might put another walk on Sunday around the same area and we can car camp at Baal Bone Gap CG. TBC Some Point of Interest: Mercurys Boot Baal Submarine Pagoda Baal Sphinx Rock Jabba Hutt Pagoda This is a good walk, and if you're into the more unconvetional walk away from crowds, than Hikezilla is a good place to find these walks!
