About this event

Trains are off this weekend, so if you’re taking public transport, do watch out for trackworks/replacement buses. If driving, I suggest to park at Berowra Station commuter parking and take the replacement bus to Brooklyn (alternatively you can car shuffle). This is because on the way back from Narara, the replacement bus will stop at Berowra first (it will save you about 50 minutes). We will need to take the brooklyn ferry to little wobby where we will start the track. We will be taking the 9:15am ferry, arriving at Wobby at 9:30am, where we will start the hike. The cost of this ferry is $8.50, please have this ready in hand: http://www.brooklynferryservice.com.au/Timetable.php http://www.brooklynferryservice.com.au/Fare-Schedule.php Details: After getting off the ferry, this walk starts at little wobby ferry wharf, we will keep walking north, stopping at Mount Wondaybne for a nice mini break before we keep going, walking past nice waterfalls etc. We will be camping overnight about halfway through the walk. There is about 5-6km of roadwalk between Somersby and Narara Station, but we’ll walk through Strickland State Forest as well before arrive at Narara. This walk is a little bit exploratory as I haven’t done the second half before. IMPORTANT NOTES: – You are responsible for looking after your own health and safety.
