Lindfield to Manly (33km) (CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 LOCKDOWN)

This walk follows mainly along bush tracks through Garigal National Park, with a decent chuck of street walking at either end. Nearing the end of the walk we will arrive in Manly, explore North Head and then finish at Manly Wharf. There may be a few minor creek crossings that could also be a little slippery but I don’t expect we should get our feet wet. Distance: 33km Elevation: 750m Pace: 4km p/h Terrain: Street, trails incl moderate climbs Getting there: 7.53am train from Central* Early exits: A few early exits, so good for first-timers *There may be slight adjustments to the train times, so please check the event and/or train timetable closer to the time Preparations: Bring plenty of water (2L ), wear sensible walking shoes, a hat, sun screen and a head lamp may not be a bad idea as will be getting dark around finish time. Bring lunch and snacks as required, but there ay also be an opportuinty stop for lunch – will advise plan closer to time.
