Glenbrook to Glenbrook Loop (30km)
About this event
Starting from Glenbrook station we’ll make our way to Jellybean walking track with a detour to Mount Portal lookout, continuing onto Euroka Clearing and then red hands cave. If we have time, perhaps we can take a dip at duck hole beach before making our way back to Glenbrook station. Edit: mount portal lookout road is closed, will skip this bit. Distance: 30km Elevation: 1055m Pace: We will aim to walk at least 3-4km throughout the walk. Disclaimer: Exploratory Weather: Sunny and clear Transport: Central Platform 7 7:24am going through Straithfield, Parra, Blacktown etc reaching Glenbrook at 8:28am I think there are some commuter car park near the station. IMPORTANT NOTES: – You are responsible for looking after your own health and safety. You must also take care not to put other people at risk. – Do not venture off the trail or close to cliff edges. – Stay together as a group, but maintaining the 1.5m social distancing requirement within the group the entire event. – You are a healthy individual with no symptoms of illness ie: cough, flu, cold or other underlying health issues etc. If unwell, please stay at home! – You have not been admitted in the hospital or quarantined for the past 14 days. – You have not been or coming from overseas for the past 14 days. – Wear comfortable outfit and sturdy walking shoes. Bring at least 2.5L of water, food, snacks, hand sanitizer, light rainjacket, windbreaker and small towel. No gratuity required. Can open up space if can commit to come and PM me
