Faulconbridge to Woodford (35km, elev 1400m) (exploratory)

In order to be able to run group walks, these are the current government regulations until at least December 1st: Groups must be 20 people or less. All group members must be vaccinated and carry their certificates at all time in case you get ask for it by authorities (before/during/after the hike) Please provide proof of vaccination to organisers prior to the hike (either on the day or message us before) Distance: 35km Elevation: 1400m Diffuclty: Exploratory, if the track takes some time to walk, then we can reduce the out and back bit on the second half of the walk. https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/faulconbridge-to-woodford-4fc4132 (after 6km on the map, I have not walked before, so depending on timing, we can always turn around the out and back instead of walking all the way to Ingar Campgrounnd, the idea is to have lunch at Murphy’s Campground.) Description: Weather: ? May catch some light showers so bring light rainjacket, rain expected the week before, so track could be wet) Transport: There is a train on Sunday from central platform 8 that will reach Faulconbridge at 8:09am, will update closer to the event. Check Platforms. If driving, good to park at Woodford at take the 8:04am train from Woodford to Faulconbridge. Water refill: Ingar Campsite, Bedford creek and possibly Murphy’s campground. may need filter. Exit Points: TBA IMPORTANT NOTES: You are responsible for looking after your own health and safety. You must also take care not to put other people at risk. Do not venture off the trail or close to cliff edges. Stay together as a group, but maintaining the 1.5m social distancing requirement within the group the entire event. You are a healthy individual with no symptoms of illness ie: cough, flu, cold or other underlying health issues etc. If unwell, please stay at home! You have not been admitted in the hospital or quarantined for the past 14 days. You have not been or coming from overseas for the past 14 days. Wear comfortable outfit and sturdy walking shoes. Bring at least 3L of water, food, snacks, hand sanitizer, light rainjacket, headtorch, small tower. Can move people from waitlist if you message/comment you can commit to come. Please only sign up if confident you can do it, this is not an easy hike. No gratuity required.
