Easter Long Weekend Wilderness Multiday Hike @ Budawangs (56km, 3 nights)

This is a multiday hike over the easter long weekend! This is a combined event with Long Walks & Hikes –https://www.meetup.com/long-walks-and-hikes-in-sydney-nsw We will be hiking through the wilderness of Budawangs National Park over 4 days (3 nights). We will park our cars and start at Wog Wog Campground, where we will also finish here. It is about 3 hours drive from the city and we will arrange car pooling. Distance of this hike is around 56km over 4 days and 2,000 metres elevation. There are few optional side trips (including a huge climb if anyone is interested!) after setting up camp. Preparations You would need to bring all of your overnight walking gear, e.g. pack, tent, sleeping bag / mat etc as well as food. Hopefully water won’t be too much of a problem (we will let you know) but will need to be treated! Description: Day 1 – 16km (3km without pack optional detour after setting camp) Day 2 – 14km Day 3 – 13km Day 4 – 12km Some place of interest we will visit include Corang Peak, Rock Ribs, Mount Owen and the famouse The Castle. We will be camping on the hike in campsite, so no booking is required. No gratuity required for this event Both of these groups are about connection and community, so we thought it would be cool to bring them together.
