About this event

This is part of Oxfam Section 1-4 (and the more challenging side). If you are doing Oxfam, this is a good training section. We will also walk over 10km in the dark (the section you will most likely walk in the dark during Oxfam, so headtorch is a must). Note the Gibberagong boardwalk is closed until July (where Oxfam normally goes through), so we will have to use Warrimoo Track to St Ives. Distance: 41km Elevation: 1700m Diffuclty: Hard Pace: 4km/hr. We will need to finish by no later than 9pm as that is when the last bus out of St Ives to Gordon Station comes. Weather: TBA Transport: From Central, the 6:49am train on Platform 5 goes through several station before reaching Hawkesbury River Station at 7:50am. If driving, park at Gordon Station, take the 7:06am train to Hornsby than to Haweskbury River. Exit Points: Cowan Station and Mt Kuring-Gai Station.
