Blue Mountains Scenic Lookout Walk, incl Castle Head Lookout (16km)

On this walk we will be exploring some lookouts past Scenic World, and out to Castle Head lookout, without going down into the valley, but will still involve a fair bit of climbing. Expect lots of great views and we will have a little bit of time for photos:) Then we will come back to Katoomba for lunch This will be an exploratory walk so it will be on unfamiliar terrain. Although there are some lookouts and we expect at least some of the paths to be well formed, it’s possible there could be some rock scrambling involved. We will figure it out on the day. For anyone interested, we will have lunch in Katoomba after the walk. We will also be staying in Katoomba to do another hike in the afternoon / evening, starting at 3.30pm from Wentworth Falls station.
